I&#039;m a student of communication in the Philippines, and I remember seeing the &quot;Never say &#039;no comment&quot; tip over and over in PR books. And I think this statement is truer today than ever because the internet expedites information sharing. If in the past, companies were able to use the &quot;no comment&quot; statement to at least buy them time, today, it&#039;s no longer going to be effective. After all, if you don&#039;t make your comment pretty soon, there will be others who will comment for you, be it in twitter, facebook, or whatever platform that suits them.
